About
OUR MISSION:
Through cooperation with our close-knit rescue partners in the south, Mary’s Dogs Rescue & Adoption staff, volunteers, Board members, and adoptive families in New England effect a three-fold mission:
1. We actively support the efforts of our rescue partners who work to reduce the number of homeless dogs by rescuing dogs off the streets and from shelters, and who raise awareness of canine health issues, and spay and neuter programs.
2. We find forever homes for dogs when they arrive at our New Hampshire facility and receive all necessary health certificates.
3. We ensure excellent supportive and medical care of rescued dogs throughout the adoption process and follow up with families after dogs are placed in their homes. Through every step of the rescue and adoption, connections are made between people, cultures, and dogs. Our community is extremely grateful for the supportive network that embraces us.

About
At Second Chance Ranch Rescue, we want to help our community to prevent surrenders, rather than just solve them. The alarming need for rehoming of dogs, especially those who are misunderstood is why we started Second Chance Ranch. At the Ranch, all of our dogs receive conditioning, love, socialization, and basic training to help develop their skills, confidence and capabilities while they wait for their forever home. Second Chance Ranch is focused on finding the right match between you and our dogs and will invest all the time and effort needed to do so.
Our Mission:
FIRST: To rehabilitate and give a second chance to lost, forgotten, or misunderstood dogs in order to help them find their furever home.
SECOND: To reduce adoption return and failure rates by implementing a thorough adopter evaluation process, which includes ensuring a strong human/dog match, adopter education and adoption integration plans.
THIRD: To offer a safe and well suited environment for dogs within our community to play, practice socialization skills and improve overall behavior.
FOURTH: To work with our communities to raise awareness about the misconceptions of bully type breeds and rescue dogs, the challenges associated with rescue work, and the many ways individuals can support dogs in need.

About
The Animal Rescue League of NH improves animal welfare in our communities by helping pets and the people who care for them.
The Animal Rescue League of New Hampshire is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that helps more than 2,200 cats, dogs, and small animals each year. The ARLNH was founded in 1902 and incorporated in 1904. In 1942, ARLNH’s first shelter facility was opened in Goffstown in a renovated home. In 1998, we opened our new facility in Bedford.
Being more than a shelter, ARLNH also employs one of only three shelter-based Animal Cruelty Investigators in the state. To help people who love their pets, but are currently struggling to care for them, ARLNH offers community outreach programs, such as a Pet Food Pantry and Low-Cost Spay/Neuter Clinics.
Many of our services are open to all residents of NH, with a focus on the local communities of Amherst, Auburn, Bedford, Brookline, Candia, Dunbarton, Francestown, Goffstown, Hollis, Hooksett, Litchfield, Londonderry, Lyndeborough, Manchester, Merrimack, Milford, Mont Vernon, New Boston, Peterborough, Wilton, and Windham.
ARLNH receives no state or federal funding and is almost entirely dependent upon donations.

About
Happy Tails Pet Rescue is a small adoption program in Massachusetts and New Hampshire run entirely by volunteers who have joined together to save unwanted and abandoned cats.
We were founded to take in animals from other rescues and shelters who were going to be euthanized as a result of behavior problems, overpopulated shelters, or financial burden. We also accept surrenders from families who can no longer care for their pets, and work with other rescues to accept animals from hoarding and closed MA and NH animal rescue and breeding operations.
Happy Tails Pet Rescue is a small non-profit, no-kill rescue organization in Massachusetts and New Hampshire run entirely by dedicated volunteers who have joined together to save unwanted and abandoned cats. We believe that all animals deserve to be treated with respect and integrity and we are committed to giving them a second chance at finding loving forever homes.
We strive to work with area shelters, other rescues and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless pets.
We are 501c3.
All donations and adoption fees go directly to the animals.
We have a strict “no-kill” policy and will do everything we can to save an animal.

About
The Salem Animal Rescue League (SARL) was formed in 1992 with the goal of rescuing 50 stray and unwanted animals in the Salem, NH area. During that year, SARL rescued a total of 157 animals, affirming the need for an alternative to traditional municipal animal control. SARL’s history is one of community interaction with police, town government and the people of the community. Today, the Salem Animal Rescue League rescues and adopts close to 800 dogs and cats per year. We are a no-kill animal shelter; we never euthanize due to limitations of space or time.
SARL Mission:
The Salem Animal Rescue League (SARL) saves the lives of abandoned, neglected and injured animals by providing a safe haven, compassionate care and new permanent homes for them.
SARL educates and promotes awareness about humane care and treatment of animals and is committed to reducing overpopulation primarily through its 100% spay/neuter policy to improve the quality of life of the animals and public we serve.
SARL Vision:
To be the premier Regional animal shelter recognized for:
• Personalized adoption services enabling a healthy match between animals and family
• Excellence in animal welfare
• Broad community partnership with sustainable financial stewardship

About
Darbster Rescue is a 501(c) 3 with the primary goal of reducing the number of animals euthanized in the Southern United States.
When the restaurant, “Darbster”, opened in 2009, Darbster Rescue was formed. 100% of all profits from Darbster Food go toward Darbster Rescue.
Darbster Rescue has two adoption facilities in New Hampshire. In 2014, Darbster Kitty was opened in Manchester, New Hampshire to facilitate the rescue, transport and adoption of kitties. Darbster Doggy, which is located in Chichester, New Hampshire, opened in late 2018.
Both these facilities offer boarding services with the profits going to help support further rescue efforts.
Our efforts have been concentrated on the rescue and transport of highly adoptable kitties and dogs out of overcrowded conditions in the Southern United States to areas in New England where demand is significantly stronger. A tremendous help to this effort has been our partnerships with other rescue organizations in the New England area: Salem Animal Rescue League (SARL), Humane Society & Shelter South Coast, Standish Humane Society, the Ellen M. Gifford Cat Shelter, SPCA of New Hampshire, Cape Ann, Happy Tails and Pope Memorial Humane Society to name a few.

About
We are a 501(c)3 tax-exempt non-profit animal welfare organization. We make every attempt to reunite strays with their original families. If that is not possible, we try to place them with a new loving family.
Our mission is to shelter, care for, and advocate for the abused, neglected and abandoned cats and dogs of the communities we serve by taking steps to control overpopulation and providing healthy animals that will be adopted into loving ‘forever’ homes.
