About
Mureille’s Place is a small home-based 501c3 non-profit rescue in Northeast PA providing end of life care for senior dogs. We are a no-kill rescue offering a safe haven for unwanted senior dogs until they are adopted or if unadoptable, a place to live out their remaining days with love, dignity and respect.
The sanctuary is located on 7 wooded acres that include beautiful walking trails and plenty of safe fenced in areas to wander. We are an all volunteer rescue with no paid staff or board members so all donations go to the rescue operation.
Established in 2006, incorporated & received 501c3 status in 2009 (Fed Tax id 27-1159266). Named for our first senior rescue dog Mureille, (pronounced Mer-Ray) we are supported completely by donations and do not receive any funding from state or federal govt.
We rescue dogs from all over the country from shelters and owner surrenders. Most of our dogs were in desperate need of a safe place to escape euthanasia

About
Providing quality “forever” care for abandoned senior dogs.
At Gray Paws Sanctuary, we are passionate about senior dogs! Since 2014, we have been caring for older dogs in need of preventative and routine medical care, physical therapy, socialization, and above all, love!
We do this in three ways – First, senior dogs in “Sanctuary” live with our co-founders, Darla & Joe. They spend every day caring for this pack of senior dogs themselves.
We also match senior dogs with local families through our “Forever Foster Care – Medical Coverage Program” to care for them for the duration of their lives.
Through funds raised in our non-profit, medical care is covered for these dogs so these loving homes can provide their rescued pals with more important things, like love, companionship, and joy.
Finally, our LOYAL Program provides financial support to families in order to help prevent the surrender or premature euthanasia of senior dogs that can be kept healthy and safe in their current homes.

About
Good Old Tails Senior Animal Rescue was founded in 2015 by a small group of animal lovers. Years of rescue showed us that the senior demographic in shelters is often the most overlooked and highly euthanized. These animals are discarded because of failing health, new pets in the family, a lack of time for attention and care, and countless other reasons which Good Old Tails finds deplorable. Pets are a commitment for life, not until they are an inconvenience. We are dedicated to saving as many senior dogs and cats as we can, and providing them with love and care so that they can live out the rest of their days with dignity and happiness. Some of these animals may never leave our rescue, and their foster families will be the ones to say the last good-bye. Others will go on to find families of their own. Whatever the outcome, we have made the promise to them that they will never again be alone.

About
We are that place in the country where old dogs come to retire. Woody’s Place has several wonderful volunteers without whom we could not achieve our mission of helping homeless senior German Shepherds.
Woody’s Place Senior German Shepherd Sanctuary, Inc. is a 501c3 non-profit organization located in Greentown, Pa. Since our start in 2011, it has been our mission to provide the best possible long-term compassionate care for abandoned and displaced German Shepherds eight years and older.
“It’s not about how many dogs we have in our care on any given day. It’s about how many we have provided long-term care for over the years.”

About
We are a group of volunteers whose goal is to save the lives of homeless dogs suffering in high-kill shelters, as well as owner-surrender dogs who need to be re-homed due to unfortunate circumstances. We are not a shelter, and we have no central location for the dogs we rescue. We pull dogs from various shelters and provide foster homes until they are adopted. In doing so, we hope to provide an alternative to the purchase of puppy mill and pet store dogs, thereby reducing the demand for, and ultimately, the supply of, such dogs. We strive to match each dog with the right family after the dog has been observed in a foster home.

About
We are an all breed dog rescue, founded in 2008 based in Southampton, Pennsylvania. We have an adoption center, however we do not kennel dogs there, instead our adoptable dogs and puppies are kept in local foster homes which allows them to become socialized with families and not kept in a kennel while waiting to be adopted. We try and keep the adoption process as simple as possible and match adoptable dogs with loving and caring families.

About
Animal Advocates is a nonprofit, all volunteer, Pittsburgh-based animal welfare organization involved in the rescue, care and placement of companion animals. Serving the Pittsburgh area since 1984, Animal Advocates has adhered to a no-kill policy and engaged in community based advocacy on behalf of animals since its inception.
We aim to provide high quality care for the well-being of rescued cats and dogs until they are placed in forever homes.
Except for a limited number of cats fostered at our headquarters, our adoptable animals are cared for in loving volunteer foster homes. We get to know the pets’ personalities and needs very well, striving to make the best possible match for both animals and adopters. We believe the relationship between a human and companion animal is an important bond that improves the physical and social well-being of individuals and the community at large.

Our mission is to rescue and find permanent homes for abandoned, stray and surrendered dogs in order to minimize the needless euthanizing of animals.

We have a mutual passion, and a unified vision, for saving dogs as well as a thirst to educate the community on reducing the number of dogs needing rescue.
