About
We are a registered 501(c)(3) non- profit, charitable organization. Our mission is to rescue dogs from overcrowded and high kill shelters, and place them in loving homes. We also strive to educate the public on responsible pet ownership, and the importance of spay/neuter, so that one day there will no longer be adoptable dogs, euthanized by the thousands in our shelters.

We are a small rescue established in North Idaho, with 501c3 non-profit status. The farm hands bring over 25 years of rescue and animal welfare together to form a family who is here to unite animals in need with their forever guardians. Furry Farm is focused on those most at risk, be it their medical needs, background, or baggage. We are not a high volume rescue, but more specialized in doing acute care and rehabilitation.

About
The Snake River Animal Shelter (SRAS) is the only non-profit animal sheltering facility serving all of East Idaho, located on the banks of the Snake River in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Our community needed a non-profit shelter that would offer education opportunities on the humane treatment of animals as well as implement innovative programs to alleviate the problem of too many unwanted domestic animals. All of the animals that come to SRAS are given an unlimited length of stay, but our primary goal is to find every critter in our care a forever home as soon as possible. Currently, SRAS also manages the animal sheltering contract for Jefferson County and the City of Ucon.
